Our Values
What is Occupational Therapy?
Paediatric occupational therapists (OTs) focus on helping children develop the skills they need to engage in everyday activities. OTs work with children who may have physical, developmental, sensory, or cognitive challenges that affect their ability to perform these tasks. Through fun, engaging, and individualised sessions, we support children to build confidence, independence, and the skills they need to succeed at home, school, and in their community.
Our Services

1
Assessment
A 90-minute initial assessment will be conducted to gather information about your child's developmental history. Standardised and observational assessments will be utilised based on your child's age and reason for referral. A detailed report will follow, outlining the assessments, findings, and recommendations.
2
Individual Occupational Therapy
Following an initial assessment, occupational therapy intervention may be recommended for your child. Sessions can be conducted in home, school or community environments. Sessions will be individualised based on the child's goals. Every child is unique, so our approach will be tailored to ensure the most effective strategies and interventions for their growth and progress.
3
Resources
We can create personalised resources to support your child’s progress at home. These resources can include home programs that reinforce therapy goals, visual schedules to promote structure and routine, sensory diets to help regulate sensory processing needs, or social stories to support social skills and coping strategies.
